Brainstorming

Hello everyone! 

In this blog were going to be discussing our brainstormed ideas for our final project that is due very soon.

To Start, the first idea I gave was a sci-fi/futuristic movie. This idea was just off the top of my head since we didn't really have any ideas at the time. As we discussed this idea we created a pretty decent timeline/draft but then decided that this genre would be extremely hard to recreate since most sci-fi movies use CGI and other editing tactics that we won't have access too. Another problem was how we were going to portray the story and immerse the audiance into the sci-fi world.

Next, my team and I were considering a horror movie or horror genre. Initially, all four of us agreed on this idea and really wanted to pursue it. This genre tends to be suspenseful and evoke a sense of fear from the audience. Although, these elements may make the plot interesting it would’ve required us to produce a high-quality film, while maintaining that tense atmosphere. This is achievable but it on the difficult side, since we must produce a film that induces film throughout the entire film.

Lastly, we also were thinking about doing a teenage dream movie. One of our team member’s, Courtney, was very interested in doing this type of movie. She tends to like movies that portray a teenager’s life. I personally did not have a problem with this idea and wanted to delve deeper into this style of film. It may not be a specific genre, but it is aesthetically pleasing as Courtney says. The only problem is that our team must come to a consenus since we all have different views on a teenage dream movie.
