Final Project Idea

 How about a Teenage Dream!!

    It's been a while since we last talked about our final project! Today we're going to dicuss what my group and I have come up with. As you know, Courtney was very interested in doing a Teenage Dream, which I advocated for although I wanted to do something more either Futuristic or scary. Everyone in the team such as Jonnele or Jonathan wanted to do something different, so we decided to just take all our interest and combine them. As we conversed we then finally came to a consensus and produce a Teen Drama-Thriller movie! This will combine horror movie aspects, along with teenage lifestyle aspects like everyone wanted.

    For our movie opener we plan to use a small jumpscare to catch the audience off guard and contribute to the thriller element. We plan to use a good number of thriller elements that aren't as obvious but obvious enough to catch surprise the watcher. We plan to heavily rely on teenage drama conventions such as stereotypical highscool relationships, ubeat music, and energetic environment. We plan to also use thriller conventions by including small jump scares, ere sounds, and negative connotations that may hitn something bad is about to happen. It may be difficult to mix all these elements together, but we know it's possible... Think of 'Scream' and 'Sixteen Candles', mixed together. I'm super excited to film this and I hope our ideas align perfectly!
