Day 1 of Shooting!!!

Jonathan working on the shots around the house*

Hello readers!
We started filming on January 10th at 12 PM, at Courtney's house. After everyone arrived, we went over the script and outlined our goals for the day before diving into the work.

We started by setting up for the establishing shot of my house. We used a ladder to get a higher perspective, and while the shot itself was fairly simple, we ran into the challenge of keeping the camera steady. Some of the shots came out shaky, but we quickly adjusted and managed to get the shot we needed.

While Jonathan worked on some close-ups around the house, the rest of us focused on prepping my room. We ensured the lighting was set just right, organized the props, and made sure our actor was prepared for her scenes.

Once Jonathan finished, we moved to my room to begin filming. Our biggest challenge here was getting the lighting just right, adjusting it to match the camera, and ensuring our actor's shots looked natural. Since this was her first time on camera, some of the movements were awkward, but after a few adjustments and some guidance, she got the hang of it, and we were able to continue shooting smoothly.

In the end, we successfully filmed our opening montage/scene 1. It was a great first day of filming, and we're excited to keep moving forward!
