Massive Roadblock!!!

    Hey bloggers! Today's blog is a little different than usual. Recently my group and I have hit a massive roadblock, a sudden change in our main character's appearance. Jasmine, our actor, originally had locs, however; she got her hair done and now has braids. This then created a noticeable issue in our film, making some of our previously filmed scenes inconsistent. With this issue, we were given the time to brainstorm and come up with two options:
A. Continue the film as it is 
OR
B. Redo the shots with her hair in it. 
After some harsh brainstorming, we finally came to a consensus. To maintain the visual consistency, we decided to reshoot certain clips on our next film day. While this did add extra time and effort to our production timeline, it was most definitely necessary in order to ensure the final film looks somewhat seamless. This challenge taught my group and me the importance of planning ahead of time for continuity in filmmaking. Even tiny changes in the appearance can impact the flow of our story, so moving forward we'll be more mindful of these details during filming.
