Filming: Day 3

Third-Day Of Filming!

Today's blog is going to be centered around our third day of filming and the challenges faced. Day 3 of filming went very smoothly as worked on the outdoor shots/scene. We finally got to use our tripod to keep our shots steady and had to move multiple cars out of the driveway to clear the background. This time around, Jonathan had to become an actor and be a part of the film and the killer boyfriend.

One of the key moments we worked on was Jasmine walking out of the house. Since this shot wasn't hard we focused hard on ensuring her acting was natural and flowed consistently with the rest of the film. The lighting was also all-natural which helped TREMENDOUSLY, in contrast to the lighting indoors. Additionally, we expected lots of noise and distractions outside; however, we didn't have to deal with any interruptions -no cars passing by or unexpected noises-. The atmosphere outside was calm and quiet, which made it much easier for us to focus on the actors and the quality of our film.

All in all, this was one of the more smooth/chill days of filming. Everything came together quite well, and neither did we run into any major obstacles. Now it's time for us to go home and discuss the next step.
