Filming: Day 4

 Lots of BIG Changes...

Today's film session was all about getting the ending of the film correct. Most of the scenes took place downstairs, and we used only natural lighting from the curtains and windows to set the atmosphere. We really only needed lighting to light up the characters, but we wanted to maintain the darkness. Everyone showed up again, which helped things move smoothly, however, we were all in a bit of a rush since we were heading out of town the next day. That pressure made filming a little more difficult but kept us focused at the same time. Everyone was locked in, making sure we got the shot needed before we ran out of time.

One of the biggest challenges that day was filming the ending. It was harder than I anticipated to make it flow naturally while still keeping the same suspense. Since we weren't completely sure how we could make the film turn out like the reference video/photos, we also filmed an alternate version. One where Jonathan pops up behind Jasmine and kills her. This gave us a more simple, straightforward, suspenseful ending to fall back on if we needed to. Since this will be our last day of filming. Despite the time crunch placed on us, we ended up getting the shots we needed. Now it's just a matter of seeing which ending we like best.
